My son bought this model of the U.S.S. Saratoga for me as a Christmas present. What my son did'nt know was that there was 2 Saratoga aircraft carriers. The first was built in 1920, & the second was built in 1955. I served aboard the one built in 1955. This model is of the one built in 1920. My son tried to return this model to the store he bought it from but did'nt save the receipt. Also, they would'nt take it back because it was a special order.
This model is very detailed & when built is 30&1/2 inches long!
My son paid $128.00 for this model ship. Anyone interested can call me "JIM" at 262 628 4474.
